At only 15 she moved to Paris to begin her formal design training and after 10 years of study and experience moved to Chicago, living with her aunt in the USA.  She worked for many years as a designer in the Bridal and Pageant industries and finally in 1981 she opened her own Prom fashion house, and the iconic Alyce brand was born. When you purchase your dress from Emmy’s we register it to your particular school and will not sell it to another customer from your school, not even in another color!
